Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond Set in Platinum Velvet Jelly opal anyoneThis ring was created around 1905 from an antique (even then) stick pin. The principle Sapphire was salvaged and used to make this ring of dreams. There are six (6) old cut diamonds on the shoulders, three (3) on each side that give a nice dose of glamour which while unnecessary when paired with this sapphire, is always welcome. This ring is unmarked, but tests for Platinum. The construction of this setting is solid with a nice heft to its weight,
