Perhaps he is pouncing on a bird, mouse, or chipmunk. Still, he could be running and jumping just for the sheer joy of being outside. From the artist: I never had an orange cat as a pet, but my two black cats always seem to have a blast when they go outside (and usually bring back a chipmunk as a pet of their own). I chose however to depict an orange cat for a
